the "young brain" episode

feat. the D.A.R.E story + neuroscience

Trigger Warning: All episodes discuss addiction, depression, anxiety, mental health and the recovery process in depth. If there is any additional triggering material that needs noting there will be mention at the beginning of the episode.

In this week’s episode we review the story of the notorious D.A.R.E. program, and examine why it did not work.  We talk about some recent developments in Neuroscience as it relates to the teenage brain and look at the updated D.A.R.E curriculum titled "keep'n it real.”
